        The role of an SME Broker is really important to our client. On a daily basis you will be responsible for handling a panel of motor and non-motor SME customers at renewal as well as making amendments to existing covers. Your focus will be to provide a first class service as well as maintain and build relationships with our panel of Insurers.

        Daily responsibilities will include: 

        • Prepare and invite renewals in line with FCA requirements.
        • Develop relationships with customers and Insurers.
        • Handle general enquiries competently and give clear guidance and explanations.
        • Maximise renewal retention.
        • Accurately update and maintain our policy system (Acturis)


        • To be friendly, professional, and heavily client focussed.
        • Have a good all-round knowledge of commercial insurance both motor and non motor. 
        • Have friendly and professional communication attributes including on the telephone and email.
        • The ability to build relationships with customers and Insurers.
        • Ability to prioritise work.
        • To be confident and proactive and can use own initiative.
        • Be a team player.
        • Have a keen eye for detail.
        • Previous knowledge of Acturis would be advantageous
