        Project Engineer
        My client, based in LS21, a leading provider of bespoke cooling technology solutions to the food and drinks industries, their clients are amongst the UK’s most significant and well-respected national brands who have come to rely on them for their technical excellence and expertise.
         
        They place great emphasis on teamwork as an essential part of the continuing growth and success of the business, to which they are now looking to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their team.
        This role offers scope for job satisfaction, in delivering quality working solutions. The ideal person for this role will bring energy, enthusiasm, and confidence, the role offers a great opportunity in a growing business aiming to be the best provider in the market.
        Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

        • Responsible for managing projects from concept to handover
        • Work within an existing established contracts team
        • Communication with clients to understand their requirements and to ensure their expectation are met
        • Produce all necessary H&S documentation for each project
        • Co-ordinating the installation of M&E services to customer sites
        • Manage on site installation teams
        • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and specifications
        • Negotiate and project manage suppliers and sub-contractors

         
        Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

        • A minimum engineering qualification to HND or degree level (optional)
        • Experience gained in a similar role
        • Good interpersonal skills
        • Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word, MS Project etc.)
        • Experience with Health and Safety
        • The ability to plan, direct and control site activity
        • Ability to control budgets and cash flow
        • A full UK drivers licence as regular travel to client sites anywhere in the UK will be required

        Salary £ 35,000 + DOE
        Hours 37.5 per week (some flexible working)
        Holiday 25 days + SBH + 1 additional for CSR
        Car or car allowance
