        Our client based In East Leeds on the edge of the city centre is a global leader in the food testing industry, with approximately 62,000 employees worldwide. Over the past two decades, they have experienced rapid growth, driven by technological innovation and exceptional service. They are renowned for their expertise in environmental, food.
         
        They now require a temporary Administrator to support the team during an ongoing busy period.
         
        Requirements:

        • Administration experience
        • Proficient in Word and Excel
        • Happy to use the phone and emails to chase orders and liaise with clients
        • Available immediately
        • Can commit to a long term assignment 

        Role Overview:

        As an Administrative Assistant within the Laboratory Operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of laboratory operations. Responsibilities include:

        • Receiving Orders: Handling incoming orders through postal services and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
        • Order Booking: Booking received orders into the system accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper records.
        • Report Generation: Inputting information from conducted tests into reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data.
        • Filing: Organizing and maintaining physical and digital filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
        • Phone Communication: Answering incoming calls, providing assistance, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
        • Shipping Coordination: Handling outgoing shipments, including packaging items and arranging courier services.
