        My daughter Emaline had recently outgrown her kids’ bed and we spent last weekend looking online for a new one. She quickly found a site that looked great. It had all sorts of amazing-looking beds, even one built inside a VW Camper van. Cue discussion as to why we wouldn’t be buying a bed that cost more than my actual car! Finally, we agreed on a stylish-looking bed that wouldn’t break the bank.


        Before handing over the credit card details, I decided to Google the company. It was at this point that my heart sank. There were no good reviews and the majority were either 1 or 2 stars. Shoddy build quality and terrible customer service apparently.

        Suffice to say we restarted our search and decided that Argos was probably a better option! They had a selection of beds that were equally as modern as the dodgy retailer and it made me wonder why we had overlooked them in the first place. I was really pleased with the website and the friendliness of the staff in-store.

        There is a lot to be said for a trusted brand. Especially one that innovates to reflect the changing demands of its customers.
