I’m the owner of Headway Recruitment. A recruitment firm that solves hiring challenges for purpose-led organisations. We are experts in finding people who fit your values and culture, enabling you to scale up whilst being committed to making a positive social and environmental impact. We do this using our unique Headway Recruitment Platform incorporating psychometric testing, candidate AI screening, and video interviewing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 3 children. I also love sporting challenges and travel, ideally combining both! My favourite trip has to be my visit to Nepal, trekking to Everest base camp in 2019.

Annabel has been working for Headway since 2004 . She manages the office and works in the permanent division where she has built many long lasting and strong relationships with her client base.

Outside of work, Annabel loves being around people and is usually the one tasked with organising social gatherings, parties and holidays to far-flung destinations.

Sally joined Headway in 2017 as our business development consultant. An opportunity to jump onto the recruitment desk resulted in the move to consultant where she thrived. More recently Sally has been promoted to Recruitment & Development Manager where she manages our key client relationships.

Outside of work, Sally has a love of food and cooking. Her kitchen is the place where she unwinds and decides on which recipe will be on the supper menu from the groaning bookcase full of cookbooks!

Sam has over 20 years of experience in recruitment.

Sam’s psychometric profile is an Si,a strong collaborator and a team player. She is a positive and approachable person who loves speaking to people in general. One of her strengths is building relationships with clients and candidates and helping them find their perfect match whether that be the perfect new employee or new job and is one of the reasons she loves working in recruitment.

Out of work, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is creative and loves making things, especially jewellery, and runs her own small jewellery business/Etsy Shop. Don’t mess with Sam! She loves letting off steam by Thai Boxing.

Natalie joined Headway in 2017 and is our payroll and accounts manager. Her role consists of weekly payroll for our temps, our sales and purchase ledger and generally keeping a tight grip on the Headway purse strings. Natalie’s background is diverse, having worked in children’s parties at McDonalds, to Management Information and accounting.

Natalie’s psychometric profile is Cd. She likes accuracy, and focusses on logical thinking to find the best solutions. Natalie agrees with this entirely, saying…

Meet Ellie, the friendly and fabulous member of our team here at Headway! With her infectious enthusiasm, Ellie is the go-to person when it comes to solving your recruitment challenges.

As a natural people person, Ellie thrives on meeting new clients and building strong relationships. She’s like a recruitment superhero, swooping in to save the day with her problem-solving skills and knack for finding the perfect fit. Whether you’re struggling to fill a position, or you just need some guidance, Ellie is here to lend a helping hand.

With her Steady and Influence (Si) psychometric profile, Ellie has a genuine desire to support others. She loves working as part of a team and takes great pride in seeing her colleagues succeed. You can always count on Ellie to be there when you need her, ready to offer a listening ear or a helpful suggestion.

Joanna is our bilingual team member! She aslo brings 11 years’ experience of managing temp, contract and interim positions. Joanna is an I disc profile which means she loves meeting new people and gets a buzz from building relationships. Joanna is now an integral part of the team and we feel like she’s been here for years (in a good way)!

Joanna has a background in law and is always on top of the current legislation changes in recruitment.

Outside of work Joanna loves to go to gigs and enjoys socialising with friends.
